Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are the European Union’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training.
The new MSCA Work Programme and calls for 2021 and 2022 are now published.

CIVIS3i programme

CIVIS3i proposes two calls within a five-year programme, integrating interdisciplinarity and intersectorality in research, as well as skills to work on an international environment.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to contact their potential supervisor before application in order to discuss the research project.

PhD at Sapienza University

Sapienza University of Rome offers a variety of opportunities for entering its PhD programs, which begin on November 1st each year and last three calendar years.
For Italian and foreign candidates, fellowships are awarded through a competitive scheme, with applications typically due by the beginning of the summer. Additional fellowships for foreign students are awarded through a second competitive scheme, with applications typically due in April. Each fellowship amounts to  approximately 60,000 € for the three years. Additional waivers of tuition fees are available for foregin students only.

Internships

Students currently enrolled in higher education institutions at Bachelor and Master level, recent graduates and doctoral candidates can join us for an internship period.
Interns will participate to the development of one of the lab projects and activities might include programming in R or GIS, datasets analysis and literature review.
